Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kofikrom Pharmacy Ltd, Dr. Kofi Addo-Agyekum, has been adjudged the Outstanding Pharmaceutical Entrepreneur of the Year at the 14th edition of Ghana Entrepreneur & Corporate Executive Awards (GECEA) 2023
The award was in recognition of his innovative leadership at Kofikrom Pharmacy Ltd since 2015.
The event, which was held in Accra last Saturday, March 16, 2024, was on the theme: “Promoting Digital Entrepreneurship as a tool for sustainable Digital Economic Development”.
It was organized by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana to celebrate and honor successful entrepreneurs, business executives and public service Chief Executives who have had significant and positive impact on the economy, sustained business performance and demonstrated outstanding leadership and significant business success in their respective fields over the past years. About 36 individuals were honoured at the event.
Dr. Maame Akosua Agyarkobea Addo, who was present to receive the award on behalf of Dr. Kofi Addo-Agyekum, commended the organizers for recognizing her father’s effort in driving entrepreneurial change within the pharmaceutical industry.
The GECEA gala dinner was instituted in 2010 to also network, celebrate and honor successful entrepreneurs and businesses. The awards also recognize the contribution of people who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement and seeks to celebrate those who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses in Ghana.
