Our Story

Midway Clinic was established over three decades ago on the 6th of August 1980 to provide high standard, cost effective and reasonable healthcare services to improve the health status of the community.

The Clinic was originally located at Abeka junction in a 2-bedroom rented house with a staff quarters. It had a 7-bed capacity with the bathroom being used as the major Theatre and the kitchen as the Labour Ward. The Clinic moved in October 1988 to its present location at Achimota with a 30-bed capacity and has since been expanding to provide quality healthcare.

SERVICES

Midway B-Bump Class

Our Antenatal classes help you and your partner to prepare for your pregnancy, labour, birth and early parenthood. You’ll also meet and interact with other parents-to-be during the sessions. Our skilled and qualified doctors take you through sessions which will prepare you physically and mentally for the arrival of your child. You also get the opportunity to join our online motherhood club where classes are held on an appointment basis on Sundays at 4:00pm.

Child Welfare Clinic & Vaccinations

Our child welfare clinic serves all families with children in all matters related to child health. You may contact the public health nurses every Tuesday from 8.00 am- 2.00pm

Antenatal Clinic

We offer a range of maternity options for care during pregnancy, birth and early parenting. We offer antenatal clinics for routine and high-risk pregnancies, birthing services and any pregnancy related issues through to post natal care.

Saturdays (1st Session): 9:00am – 12:00 noon
Saturdays (2nd Session): 2:00pm – 5:00pm

General Medical Practice

We provide a comprehensive and coordinated healthcare to individuals and families in the community.

Gynaecology / Fertility Clinic

Midway clinic provides a comprehensive gynaecological care for women. Our fertility clinic has optimal success rates for decades now with exceptional testimonies.

Gynaecological Ultrasound Scan

Midway clinic is skilled in using advanced diagnostic techniques like pelvic ultrasound performed right in the office, helping women get a speedy and accurate diagnosis for an array of medical issues, enabling faster treatment and eliminating anxiety that can be caused by delays in scheduling.

Pap Smear

Pap smear tests finds abnormal cell changes in your cervix, primarily used to screen for cervical cancer. Have you had the test done?
