History of the Hospital
The Ghana Police Hospital was established in 1976. The primary function is to provide quality health care to members of the Ghana Police Service and their families and the general public.
The first Medical Director of the hospital was DCOP/Dr. Andani Andan (1976 – 1984).
Our Mission
The mission of the Hospital is to provide every Police Officer with access to free Primary Health Care (PHC)
Our Vision
The vision of the Hospital is to maximize the healthy life of every Police Officer, to ensure they are medically fit for police duties.
Objectives
The Hospital, through the Ghana Police Administration, has used Regional Police Clinics, Police Training School Clinics and a Mobile Medical Team for the achievement of its mission and vision. The Hospital which was established in 1976, offers various health services to both service personnel and civilians.
