About Us

The Ghana Association of Quasi-Government Health Institutions (GAQHI) is a collective of healthcare facilities managed by state-owned organizations whose primary roles extend beyond healthcare delivery. These institutions aim to provide quality, innovative, accessible, and affordable healthcare across Ghana while leveraging their unique operational frameworks.

History

GAQHI’s Governing Board was inaugurated in May 2022 and held its maiden meeting in October 2022. This association brings together quasi-governmental organizations, including the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority and the Ghana Cocoa Board, among others. These facilities have a distinct advantage in delivering healthcare services due to their structured and well-supported operational setups​
