This medical facility was established in October 1958, by the late Dr. Matthew A. Barnor, a graduate of the University of Edinburgh Medical School in Scotland, United Kingdom.
On his return, which was fueled by the call of the late Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah at Independence, for graduates abroad to return home to help build this nation, packed up and returned to Ghana.
His first ten (10) years was spent in full public service across the nation of Ghana. His entrepreneurial spirit however eventually led to the establishment of this private medical facility he named, the Link Road Clinic. Â
